Qualifications:
- Current OSPI Paraeducator Certification or Associate’s Degree
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential preferred
- Experience working with school-age children across K-12 settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to provide compassionate, effective behavioral support under the supervision of licensed personnel
Responsibilities:
- Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to implement individualized student behavior plans
- Work one-on-one or in small groups to support students’ academic and social-emotional growth
- Collect data and track student progress on behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, school teams, and families to ensure student needs are met
- Support classroom management and foster a positive learning environment
- Adapt to the unique requirements of different age groups and abilities
