Registered Behavior Technician in Manassas, VA

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RBT certification in good standing
• Previous experience supporting children or adolescents, preferably in a school or educational environment
• Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and families
• Patience, creativity, and adaptability in responding to individual needs and classroom dynamics
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for data collection and progress tracking

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Provide one-on-one or small group behavioral support to students throughout the school day
• Collect and document behavioral data with accuracy and timeliness
• Assist students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills for success in the classroom
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with teaching staff and related service professionals
• Participate in regular supervision meetings and training activities to maintain best practice standards
