Registered Behavior Technician - Manassas, VA

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Previous experience working with children or students in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and data collection
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust with students and staff
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions from supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Detail-oriented, with keen observation skills and a caring, patient demeanor

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Implement individualized behavioral intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
• Support students one-on-one or in small groups, utilizing ABA strategies
• Accurately document and track student progress and behavior data
• Communicate progress, challenges, and successes to the educational team and families as directed
• Assist with crisis management and de-escalation techniques, maintaining a safe and supportive school environment
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
