1:1 Pediatric Registered Behavior Technician in Marina, CA

As a substitute, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of per diem, on-call assignments matched to your availability, with the possibility of moving to a full-time position in the next school year depending on your performance. Compensation ranges from $24 to $27 per hour, depending on your experience.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current RBT certification and experience supporting pediatric populations, preferably in school settings
• Previous work as a paraprofessional, especially with students on the autism spectrum, ADHD, or behavioral challenges
• Ability to manage elopement behaviors, reinforce student safety, and provide toileting assistance as needed
• Comfortable adapting quickly to different 1:1 and group caseloads at short notice
• Dependable transportation and reliable communication are essential

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide behavioral support and implement intervention strategies for K-6 students
• Maintain a safe, positive learning environment tailored to individual needs
• Collaborate with school staff and contribute to a coordinated team approach
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and document student progress as required
• Adapt to coverage needs, building rapport with new students and staff on each assignment
