Make a meaningful impact supporting students through dedicated one-on-one behavioral support. A contract opportunity awaits for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) skilled in supporting elementary-aged learners. Starting as soon as possible and running through June 5, 2026, this role is based in Woodland, CA—serving a 1st grade student in a general education setting who presents with intense behaviors. Work closely with a collaborating BCBA and a classroom para to implement a comprehensive Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) designed for success. Compensation for this position ranges from $30 to $45 per hour, reflecting your expertise and commitment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current RBT certification in good standing
  • Experience working with elementary students exhibiting challenging, intense behaviors
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with BCBAs, teachers, and support staff
  • Confidence in implementing BIPs and data collection processes
  • Ability to respond calmly and analytically to attention-seeking or avoidance behaviors
  • Excellent communication and observation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent one-on-one support to a 1st grade male student in a general education classroom
  • Implement the student’s individualized BIP as directed by the supervising BCBA
  • Collect behavioral data, documenting progress and incidents using designated systems
  • Collaborate with the BCBA, classroom para, and educational staff to adjust strategies as needed
  • Support the student in accessing curriculum and school routines
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a safe, positive environment for learning

This position offers a predictable Monday–Friday schedule at 35 hours per week, allowing you to build strong relationships and see measurable student growth.
