Registered Behavior Technician - Marysville, CA

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting a vibrant elementary school environment as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This opportunity places you at the heart of educational progress, providing one-on-one behavioral support to a 1st-grade student in a general education setting near Woodland, CA. You’ll collaborate closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a dedicated paraprofessional to help shape positive outcomes and make a meaningful difference every day.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct behavior intervention services to a 1st-grade student with intense behaviors, using evidence-based strategies as outlined in the Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).
• Implement interventions targeting attention-seeking and avoidance behaviors, documenting progress and adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate consistently with a BCBA and a para to ensure cohesive, effective support.
• Maintain detailed records of intervention implementation and student milestones.
• Foster a supportive and safe classroom environment, promoting inclusion and student success.
• Communicate regularly with instructional staff and contribute to collaborative team meetings.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• Previous experience in a school or education setting preferred.
• Familiarity with Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), BIPs, and ABA principles.
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated patience and flexibility in dynamic situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This contract position offers a work schedule of approximately 35 hours per week, with assignments commencing as soon as possible and extending through early June 2026. Earn between $30 and $45 per hour as you help foster success and positive change in a school community.
