An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide essential behavioral support services within a school-based setting near Maryville, TN. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of students, collaborating closely with educators, families, and other clinical team members.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active RBT certification recognized by the BACB
- Experience supporting children or adolescents with autism or behavioral needs in educational settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with students, staff, and families
- Ability to implement positive behavior plans crafted under BCBA supervision
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and flexible with changing schedules and environments
- Ability to maintain documentation and data collection accurately and timely
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one or small group behavioral interventions under the guidance of a supervising BCBA
- Monitor and record student progress toward behavioral goals and objectives
- Assist teachers and other school staff with strategies to reinforce positive behaviors
- Support implementation of individualized education plans and behavior intervention plans
- Participate in progress meetings and contribute valuable insights to educational teams
- Maintain professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality in all student interactions
