Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Matthews, North Carolina

Exciting opportunity available this Fall 2026 semester for a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to make a real impact in an educational setting near Charlotte, NC. This part-time contract role is ideal for an RBT who is passionate about supporting elementary students and enjoys collaborating with skilled colleagues.

In this position, you’ll work closely with a team of district Behavior Technicians and Aides to deliver direct behavioral services to a caseload of 5 to 6 elementary-aged students. Your experience and commitment will be instrumental in shaping positive student outcomes in the classroom.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Previous experience working with elementary students highly preferred
• Familiarity with implementing behavior intervention plans and working with students with various developmental needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with district staff
• Professional, flexible, and reliable approach to student-centered support

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) services to assigned elementary students
• Collaborate regularly with district Behavior Technicians & Aides to support individualized student needs
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by supervising BCBA
• Collect accurate data and maintain detailed documentation on student progress and interventions
• Support positive classroom behavior and help students achieve their behavioral goals
