Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Media, Pennsylvania

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting school-based programs. Multiple full-time contract roles are available, with immediate start dates through June 10, 2027, offering a consistent 35-hour work week. Depending on your interests and background, you may support an Autistic Support classroom (K-2) or work with middle school students, all based in a vibrant urban setting.

There are five openings in total:

• 3 positions at an arts-focused elementary site, supporting young children in an Autistic Support classroom (preference for male candidates, one female candidate required)
• 2 positions at a middle school setting (male RBTs only)

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (must be provided with application)
• Demonstrated experience working in school environments, especially with Special Education and behaviorally challenged students
• Ability to maintain your RBT certification independently, as district supervision may not be available
• Proven comfort with adapting to changing student needs and dynamic classroom environments
• Reliable transportation is essential
• Completion or ability to obtain PA state clearances
• Strong professional references
• Experience in urban settings beneficial
• Willingness to specify and commit to the requested site (elementary or middle school)
• Paraprofessionals are not eligible for these positions

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct behavioral support to students based on individualized plans
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to foster student growth
• Adapt strategies to support students’ unique needs within classroom and school settings
• Uphold professionalism and maintain certification standards outside of district supervision
