Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Media, Pennsylvania

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential support as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a dynamic school-based environment. Two unique settings are available: the Chester Upland School of Arts needs three dedicated RBTs to make a difference in an Autistic Support classroom (K-2), while Toby Farms Middle School has two positions reserved for male RBTs. This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week, with a commitment through June 10, 2027, and an immediate start available for the right candidates.

Onsite, hands-on support with special education students—including those with behavioral challenges—is central to the position. Please note, paraprofessionals are not being considered; candidates must possess active RBT certification and provide proof upfront.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Prior experience in school-based settings
• Experience supporting special education and behaviorally challenged students
• Flexibility and reliability in adapting to changing classroom needs
• Ability to maintain certification independently if district supervision is unavailable
• Able to obtain and complete all required Pennsylvania clearances
• Reliable transportation
• Strong references required
• For Toby Farms Middle School: male candidates only
• Must be comfortable working in an urban environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver behavioral support and interventions to students in K-2 autistic support or middle school environments
• Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams onsite
• Maintain documentation and uphold ethical standards in practice
• Participate in brief (15-minute) Zoom interview as part of the selection process
