Make a real impact supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) on a contract basis in the Middletown area. Desired Background & Skills:
- Current RBT certification
- Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Compassion, patience, and the ability to build rapport with students
- Flexibility and the capacity to adapt strategies to individual needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one or small-group support to students, helping them with targeted goals and skills development
- Collect and accurately record behavioral data to inform program decisions
- Communicate progress and observations effectively with the school team and families as appropriate
- Support behavior management and promote positive social, academic, and emotional growth within the educational environment
- Participate in ongoing training and team meetings
