Registered Behavior Technician - Middletown, CT

Make a real impact supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) on a contract basis in the Middletown area. Desired Background & Skills:

• Current RBT certification
• Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school or educational setting
• Strong communication and documentation abilities
• Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
• Compassion, patience, and the ability to build rapport with students
• Flexibility and the capacity to adapt strategies to individual needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Provide direct one-on-one or small-group support to students, helping them with targeted goals and skills development
• Collect and accurately record behavioral data to inform program decisions
• Communicate progress and observations effectively with the school team and families as appropriate
• Support behavior management and promote positive social, academic, and emotional growth within the educational environment
• Participate in ongoing training and team meetings
