Seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a contract role supporting an Autism Program near Middletown, DE. The assignment runs from August 24, 2026, through June 16, 2027, offering consistent hours with no part-time or flexible scheduling options.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (required)
- Active Delaware PARA Permit (required)
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Solid background working with pediatric or elementary school populations
- Experience in physical intervention strategies and supporting students who may require this
- Proven skill in collecting and documenting behavioral and classroom data
- Comfortable with all aspects of bathroom duties, including toileting, diapering, and hygiene care
- Ability to work the full scheduled day onsite without accommodations for late arrival or early leave
- Dependable personal transportation
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral support and intervention in a classroom setting
- Accurately collect and record behavioral and instructional data for each student
- Collaborate with teachers and staff as a flexible, team-oriented contributor—assignments may shift depending on school needs
- Assist in all required hygiene tasks, with bathroom duties as a non-negotiable part of the role
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment for students with autism
