Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician certification
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents with autism spectrum disorder or related developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with educators, families, and other specialists
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Compassionate and patient approach to working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect and accurately record data regarding student behaviors and program effectiveness
- Support students in classroom, small groups, and one-on-one settings to reach their IEP goals
- Participate in team meetings, providing insights into student progress and collaborating on adjustments to strategies
- Maintain regular communication with educators and families to foster consistency
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture where every student feels supported and valued
