Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Previous experience in a school setting or working with children/adolescents is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavioral intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Compassion, patience, and a passion for helping students succeed
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Organized with great attention to detail and documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Collect and record accurate behavior and skills data daily
  • Utilize ABA techniques to teach, reinforce, and generalize new skills
  • Support teachers and staff by providing behavioral strategies in classroom settings
  • Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions
  • Adapt strategies to meet the individualized needs of each student
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment
