Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with children/adolescents is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavioral intervention strategies
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Compassion, patience, and a passion for helping students succeed
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Organized with great attention to detail and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- Collect and record accurate behavior and skills data daily
- Utilize ABA techniques to teach, reinforce, and generalize new skills
- Support teachers and staff by providing behavioral strategies in classroom settings
- Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions
- Adapt strategies to meet the individualized needs of each student
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment
