Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Previous experience working in educational or pediatric settings is preferred
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
- Ability to implement behavior intervention plans with consistency and fidelity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled in maintaining detailed documentation and progress notes
- Collaborative, patient, and flexible mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized ABA therapy and behavioral support to students as outlined in treatment and behavior intervention plans
- Record and monitor student data to track responses and progress
- Work one-on-one and in small groups to reinforce positive behavior and support social, academic, and emotional growth
- Assist in training teachers and parents on ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques
- Modify and adapt approaches as guided by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing evaluations of student needs
