Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • Previous experience working with children or adolescents on the autism spectrum or with behavioral challenges preferred

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and following behavior intervention plans precisely

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide consistent 1:1 behavioral support for a student within a self-contained classroom
  • Follow individualized behavior intervention plans developed by supervising BCBA and educational staff
  • Utilize data collection methods to track student progress and communicate findings to the classroom team
  • Help promote a positive and structured learning environment, adapting interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other team members to optimize each student’s educational experience
  • Foster independence and social skills through carefully guided interactions and positive reinforcement
