Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year. Located near the scenic Monterey, CA area, you'll work full-time hours—35-40 hours per week—aligned with a standard school bell schedule. Multiple caseloads are available, primarily providing 1:1 or 2:1 ABA support to elementary students who require varying levels of assistance. Specific details regarding caseloads and student needs will be discussed during the interview process. Hourly compensation ranges from $30-34 and reflects your experience.

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience delivering ABA services within a school setting
  • Current Registered Behavior Technician certification (inactive licenses considered if under BCBA supervision)
  • Training in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
  • Reliable transportation to and from assignments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized ABA therapy plans under BCBA supervision
  • Provide targeted 1:1 or 2:1 support to students with diverse behavioral and learning needs
  • Collect and document data on student progress and behavior
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and family members to reinforce strategies and interventions
  • Assist in crisis prevention and employ de-escalation strategies as needed
