1:1 Pediatric Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Monterey, California

Key Qualifications:

• Active RBT certification or paraprofessional qualifications
• Previous pediatric behavioral experience, preferably in an educational setting
• Confident supporting students with ASD, ADHD, and assisting with toileting if necessary
• Ability to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviors, promote student safety, and prevent elopement
• Reliable transportation and strong communication skills
• Comfortable working on-call, sometimes at short notice, with varying caseloads

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy and behavioral support to assigned students
• Collaborate with teachers and school teams to create positive, inclusive learning environments
• Document student progress and behavior intervention strategies
• Ensure student safety and assist with personal care as needed
• Step into different classrooms to fill urgent needs and maintain continuity of support
