Step into a rewarding role supporting students across kindergarten and elementary levels as a Substitute Registered Behavior Technician or Paraprofessional. As part of this flexible, per diem/on-call opportunity, you’ll make a difference each day by providing crucial 1:1 support to children who need it most while enjoying the control to build a schedule that suits your life. Hourly compensation ranges from $24-$27, based on experience.

What You'll Bring:

  • Active RBT certification or strong experience as a Paraeducator in school-based behavioral support
  • Background in pediatric behavioral assistance, ideally within educational environments
  • Confidence working with students with ASD, ADHD, or behavioral needs—including elopement prevention, guaranteed student safety, and toileting assistance as required
  • Ability and willingness to accept on-call assignments and adapt to a variety of classroom environments or unexpected situations
  • Excellent, reliable communication skills and consistent access to transportation

Your Impactful Responsibilities:

  • Offer one-on-one behavioral support, implementing individualized interventions under the direction of school staff
  • Flexibly cover caseloads across classrooms and age groups, helping maintain a safe and supportive environment for students
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, school support staff, and parents to ensure continuity of care
  • Quickly build rapport and trust with students, helping them achieve behavioral goals and classroom success
