Hourly compensation ranges from $24-$27, based on experience.
What You'll Bring:
- Active RBT certification or strong experience as a Paraeducator in school-based behavioral support
- Background in pediatric behavioral assistance, ideally within educational environments
- Confidence working with students with ASD, ADHD, or behavioral needs—including elopement prevention, guaranteed student safety, and toileting assistance as required
- Ability and willingness to accept on-call assignments and adapt to a variety of classroom environments or unexpected situations
- Excellent, reliable communication skills and consistent access to transportation
Your Impactful Responsibilities:
- Offer one-on-one behavioral support, implementing individualized interventions under the direction of school staff
- Flexibly cover caseloads across classrooms and age groups, helping maintain a safe and supportive environment for students
- Communicate effectively with teachers, school support staff, and parents to ensure continuity of care
- Quickly build rapport and trust with students, helping them achieve behavioral goals and classroom success
