Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Monterey, California

Take your Registered Behavior Technician expertise to the next level in a contract position supporting elementary school students near Monterey, CA. You'll spend the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year making a meaningful difference within a school environment. Multiple caseloads are available, primarily focused on 1:1 or 2:1 support models, and you'll follow the standard bell schedule for 35-40 hours per week.

Compensation for this role ranges from $30 to $34 per hour, depending on experience.

What You’ll Bring:

• Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) licensure; inactive status is acceptable, with BCBA supervision provided
• At least 1 year of ABA experience in school-based settings
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation training
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Collaborative spirit and adaptability
• Reliable transportation for on-time attendance

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering individualized behavioral interventions, primarily with elementary-aged students across a spectrum of support needs
• Collaborating with school staff, supervisors, and families to optimize student progress
• Maintaining accurate documentation and data collection in accordance with school and RBT standards
• Participating in training and professional development offered throughout your assignment
• Responding calmly and competently to crisis situations as needed
