Registered Behavior Technician in Montgomery, AL

Make a meaningful impact supporting students as an Itinerant Registered Behavior Technician in the Montgomery, AL area. In this contract position, you'll work across 2-3 campuses, primarily serving elementary-aged students in self-contained classroom settings. You’ll collaborate closely with specialists to implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans, providing essential support to help students thrive in their learning environments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Current, active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification required
• Experience as an RBT in educational or clinical settings, preferably with elementary-aged children
• Skilled in collecting and documenting behavioral data
• Familiarity with implementing Behavior Intervention Plans
• Ability to manage multiple assignments across campuses (itinerant role)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct behavioral intervention services to students in self-contained classrooms
• Collaborate daily with specialists to adapt and execute individualized behavior plans
• Track and report on student progress, maintaining clear, timely documentation
• Foster positive, respectful, and safe environments for students with diverse learning needs
• Work onsite at designated locations, following the established schedule (37.5 hours/week)
• Uphold professional and ethical standards as an RBT
