Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Monument, New Mexico

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Current RBT certification required
• Experience as a Registered Behavior Technician or Paraprofessional, especially in school environments
• Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, specialists, and other school staff
• Flexible attitude and compassionate approach toward students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards

Core Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students, supporting behavioral, social, and academic development
• Accurately collect and record data on student performance and behavioral progress
• Provide proactive support and positive reinforcement to students
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress plans
• Adapt strategies and supports based on individual and classroom needs
