Qualifications:
- Active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification
- Experience supporting children and teens in educational settings, ideally across Grades K-12
- Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, educational staff, and families
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct 1:1 behavioral support to students across elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the direction of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Use data collection methods to track progress, monitor goals, and inform ongoing interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support each student’s success
- Use evidence-based techniques to promote positive behavior changes and improve social, academic, and functional skills
- Maintain accurate documentation, following school and district guidelines
