Qualifications:

  • Active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification
  • Experience supporting children and teens in educational settings, ideally across Grades K-12
  • Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, educational staff, and families
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct 1:1 behavioral support to students across elementary, middle, and high school settings
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the direction of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Use data collection methods to track progress, monitor goals, and inform ongoing interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support each student’s success
  • Use evidence-based techniques to promote positive behavior changes and improve social, academic, and functional skills
  • Maintain accurate documentation, following school and district guidelines
