Certified High School Registered Behavior Technician in Navasota, TX

Your skills will be utilized in two primary settings: (1) providing behavioral support in an elementary classroom, and (2) supporting students with higher behavioral needs in a cross-campus Life Skills environment. Those with experience managing aggressive behaviors or who hold CPI certification are especially encouraged to apply.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Experience in school environments preferred, but strong RBT or behavioral experience is essential
• Experience supporting elementary, middle, or high school students
• CPI or comparable training/experience with aggressive caseloads highly desired for Life Skills role

Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 behavioral support and intervention to students, primarily in elementary and Life Skills classrooms
• Implement behavioral plans and track student progress in collaboration with school staff
• Proactively manage challenging behaviors, utilizing de-escalation and positive reinforcement techniques
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
• Adapt strategies for a variety of student needs and developmental levels

Schedule & Setting:

• Full-time, contract position running from ASAP through the end of the school year (renewals and summer opportunities are common)
• Typical hours are 7:15am–3:30pm, may vary slightly based on student or site needs
