Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Nevada City, California

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification required
• Previous experience as an RBT, paraprofessional, or in a behavior specialist role in educational or clinical settings
• Understanding of principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Ability to implement individualized behavior intervention plans
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, caregivers, and school teams
• Excellent communication, organization, and data collection abilities
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet students' evolving needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct behavioral support and interventions to students in classroom and other campus settings
• Collect behavioral data and maintain accurate records, following established protocols
• Support implementation of students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as directed by licensed staff
• Assist with developing and adjusting intervention strategies based on progress monitoring
• Participate in team meetings to discuss student goals and outcomes
• Encourage and reinforce positive student behaviors, supporting academic and social success
• Communicate regularly with supervising BCBA, teachers, and parents regarding progress and strategies
