Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification required
- Previous experience as an RBT, paraprofessional, or in a behavior specialist role in educational or clinical settings
- Understanding of principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Ability to implement individualized behavior intervention plans
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, caregivers, and school teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and data collection abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet students' evolving needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct behavioral support and interventions to students in classroom and other campus settings
- Collect behavioral data and maintain accurate records, following established protocols
- Support implementation of students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as directed by licensed staff
- Assist with developing and adjusting intervention strategies based on progress monitoring
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student goals and outcomes
- Encourage and reinforce positive student behaviors, supporting academic and social success
- Communicate regularly with supervising BCBA, teachers, and parents regarding progress and strategies
