Registered Behavior Technician in New Britain, CT

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Previous experience working with children or students, preferably in a school or educational setting
• Familiarity with implementing behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA or other supervisors
• Strong communication and observational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for supporting children with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group behavioral support to students under the direction of supervising staff
• Accurately collect data and document student progress toward individualized goals
• Execute individualized treatment plans and behavior strategies as outlined by BCBA supervisors
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and related service providers to maintain a positive environment
• Monitor and assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation, as needed
• Participate in team meetings and maintain consistent communication with staff
• Uphold ethical and professional standards at all times
