Registered Behavior Technician in New Castle, DE

Bring your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to an impactful summer program supporting students within a vibrant educational community. This contract opportunity is designed for certified RBTs ready to provide essential services as part of an Autism Program in a school-based setting.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Previous school-based or pediatric/elementary experience (highly preferred)
• Ability to participate in required professional development days and commit to the full summer program schedule
• Comfortable working onsite throughout the contract period
• Dependable transportation and excellent punctuality

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct behavioral support services for students with autism, following individualized plans and district guidance
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and district professionals to promote skill acquisition and positive behaviors
• Collect and document data on student progress in accordance with program protocols
• Adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and respond to student needs throughout the day
• Maintain high professional standards and adhere to all district and legal guidelines

Program Schedule:

• Professional Development Days: June 23–24 (Tuesday & Wednesday, 8:30 AM–3:00 PM; 6.5 hours/day)
• In-Service Program: July 6–August 6 (Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM; 7 hours/day, 28 hours/week)
• Openings at two locations, with one RBT needed for each site
