Desired Qualifications:
- Active RBT certification and good standing
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s in related field preferred
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents, ideally in schools or educational programs
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, supervisors, and families
- Ability to adapt approach to meet individual student needs and goals
- Reliable, organized, patient, and compassionate nature
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly support students in classroom and one-on-one settings, utilizing strategies from behavior intervention plans
- Collect accurate behavioral data and document progress in a timely manner
- Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), educators, and related service providers
- Teach and reinforce functional and social skills to students across various age groups
- Assist with modifying instructional materials to suit different learning styles
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
