Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required
- Experience working in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles and data collection methods
- Excellent communication, observational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics
- Ability to adapt strategies as directed by supervising BCBA and adjust to various student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collect and accurately record data on student progress and behavioral responses
- Assist in developing and maintaining a positive, structured environment within the school setting
- Provide direct support and positive reinforcement to students to encourage behavioral growth
- Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and supervising BCBA regarding student progress
- Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings as required by the assignment
