Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | New Castle, Delaware

Make a difference in students’ lives as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting school-aged children near New Castle, DE! In this contract role, you will implement evidence-based interventions and help foster positive behavioral change alongside a collaborative educational team. Collaborate directly with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), educators, and families to ensure each student receives individualized attention and support to reach meaningful milestones.

What You'll Need:

• Active RBT certification through the BACB
• Previous experience working with children or youth, preferably in school or educational settings
• Proficiency in implementing ABA-based interventions under BCBA supervision
• Understanding of IEP and behavior intervention plan processes
• Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Ability to track and document data accurately and confidentially
• Flexibility, patience, and commitment to serving students of diverse backgrounds and needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 or small-group ABA therapy sessions and interventions as directed by the supervising BCBA
• Collect, record, and summarize behavioral data to track student progress
• Support development and implementation of behavior intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training
• Assist in crisis intervention and teach coping skills as needed
• Ensure all duties are conducted in accordance with school policies and ethical standards
