Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within a respected Autism Program near Newark, DE, for the upcoming school year. This full-time position makes a meaningful impact by providing critical behavior supports to elementary and middle school-aged students in an educational setting.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current and active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Active Delaware PARA Permit
  • Strong preference for school-based experience, especially supporting elementary students
  • Demonstrated experience with students requiring physical intervention strategies
  • Clear understanding of, and experience with, collecting behavioral and instructional data in a classroom setting
  • Committed team player with flexibility to assist in changing classroom assignments as needed
  • Comfortable and willing to perform essential bathroom and hygiene duties, including toileting and diapering
  • Ability to work the full scheduled day onsite; partial schedules/late arrivals/early departures cannot be accommodated
  • Reliable transportation for daily attendance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct behavior support in a classroom environment for students with autism and related needs
  • Implement physical intervention strategies when appropriate and according to program guidelines
  • Accurately collect, report, and analyze data related to student behaviors and instructional outcomes
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators for continuity of care and student success
  • Participate in essential personal care needs including bathroom duties as required by the program

This assignment runs from August 24, 2026, through June 16, 2027, offering the chance to immerse yourself in a school community and make a direct difference in young lives. Eligible candidates will complete a brief interview via Google Meets.
