Registered Behavior Technician in Newark, DE

This full-time, contract role involves working directly in a school environment alongside a collaborative team, where you will play a pivotal part in student growth and classroom success from October 30, 2026, through February 1, 2027.

What You'll Need:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
• Current Delaware PARA Permit
• Previous experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
• Proven ability to support students requiring physical intervention strategies
• Strong skills in collecting behavioral and instructional data in a classroom environment
• Willingness and ability to participate in all necessary student care duties, including toileting, diapering, and hygiene assistance
• Ability to work onsite during scheduled hours (8:45 AM–4:15 PM EST), five days a week, with no exceptions
• Demonstrated reliability and a team-focused mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support implementation of behavioral intervention plans for elementary students in an autism program
• Collect, track, and report behavioral and instructional data daily
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff to promote a positive learning environment
• Follow through with all assigned student routine care needs, prioritizing dignity and respect
• Adjust to shifting classroom assignments should the needs of the school change
