Make a direct impact on students’ growth and success in an educational setting as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) on a contract assignment. Work closely with students, teachers, and support staff to implement evidence-based strategies that encourage positive behavioral outcomes and academic achievement.
Key Qualifications:
- Active RBT certification and completion of required training
- Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or behavioral health settings
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to track progress, follow detailed behavioral intervention plans, and maintain accurate documentation
- Patience, flexibility, and a compassionate approach to working with diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct one-on-one or small group ABA therapy to students as outlined in their individual treatment plans
- Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other educators to refine and adapt interventions as needed
- Collect and record data on student behaviors and program effectiveness
- Support the implementation of positive behavior support systems within classrooms and throughout the school
- Provide feedback and communicate regularly with interdisciplinary teams and families to ensure best outcomes
- Help foster a safe, structured, and encouraging learning environment for all students
