Registered Behavior Technician in Norristown, PA

Seeking a motivated professional with expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students in a K-8 educational environment. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact, working alongside dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) within a collaborative school setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid RBT certification and experience working in school-based or pediatric settings
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
• Comfortable providing 1:1 and group behavioral interventions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with students, staff, and families
• Ability to follow behavior intervention plans under supervision of BCBAs
• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement behavioral intervention strategies designed by supervising BCBAs
• Collect and record accurate data on student progress and behaviors
• Support teachers and other school staff in creating positive behavioral environments
• Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade
• Collaborate closely with the BCBA team on ongoing assessment and plan modifications
• Provide clear and compassionate communication to parents and caregivers as needed
