Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Prior experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in an educational or behavioral health setting
- Understanding and application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and clear communication with students and staff
- Ability to document and report behaviors and interventions accurately
- Flexibility and adaptability within a collaborative team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted behavioral interventions and support plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect and record data on student behaviors and intervention outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school personnel to promote consistent practices and positive learning environments
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development as assigned
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to encourage positive behaviors and social skills
- Provide crisis intervention support, as needed, maintaining composure and professionalism
