Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience implementing behavior plans in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to track data accurately and maintain meticulous records
- Passion for supporting students with diverse behavioral and educational needs
- Flexible, patient, and positive approach to challenges
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework in psychology, education, or related field a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Follow individualized behavior intervention programs developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect, record, and summarize data on student progress and behaviors
- Assist students in developing and practicing new skills in academic and social settings
- Provide one-on-one or small-group support, as outlined in students’ education plans
- Communicate regularly with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure consistency and progress
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training sessions
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment
