Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active BCBA or RBT credential
  • Previous experience working with students with disabilities preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of LRE principles for Special Education
  • Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to conduct assessments and create effective behavior intervention plans
  • Commitment to collaborative, solution-oriented approaches

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with students, educators, and support staff to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions
  • Assess students’ needs and monitor progress toward behavioral and academic goals
  • Develop, update, and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans in alignment with district goals for LRE
  • Train teachers and paraprofessionals on best practices in behavior management and instructional strategies
  • Maintain detailed records and provide input in IEP meetings to advocate for students with disabilities
  • Foster a supportive environment for students, focusing on improving access to education in the least restrictive setting
