Based near Odessa, DE and serving the surrounding areas, you'll support students from Pre-K through age 22 (Transition), promoting positive behavior change and ensuring each student’s individuality is respected and nurtured.
As an RBT, you will work a consistent 35-hour week during the 2026-2027 school year, providing valuable assistance and behavioral support to students across varied grade levels. Your expertise will be utilized to help students achieve their goals, working collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working with children and young adults in educational or therapeutic settings
- Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs, ages Pre-K-22
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in maintaining confidentiality and accurate records
- Must provide your RBT certification or a current screenshot with your application
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision
- Collect and document data to track student progress
- Collaborate with staff, teachers, and families to ensure positive outcomes
- Adapt interventions and support techniques for age-appropriate engagement
- Support students during transitions and daily routines
