Make a meaningful impact in the school environment by supporting a first-grade student as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This contract opportunity runs from now through June 5, 2026, and is based near Woodland, CA. Step into a collaborative atmosphere where you will work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a dedicated paraeducator.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver one-on-one ABA interventions for a first-grade student in a general education setting
- Implement and track progress on a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP), addressing behaviors such as attention-seeking and avoidance
- Work closely with the BCBA to adapt strategies and interventions as needed
- Communicate regularly with the student’s multidisciplinary team to support academic and behavioral goals
- Maintain documentation and data collection on student progress and response to interventions
- Foster a supportive, encouraging environment to help the student succeed in class
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Previous experience in an educational setting is preferred
- Background working with students who display intense behaviors is a strong advantage
- Skilled in following BIPs and collaborating with behavioral health professionals
- Excellent communication, patience, and observational skills
