Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RBT certification required
• Previous experience supporting individuals with intense behaviors is highly preferred
• Comfortable delivering Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) and adapting to changes
• Familiarity with collaborating alongside a BCBA and paraprofessionals
• Strong communication skills, patience, and adaptability

Role Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one with a 1st grade student exhibiting intense behaviors rooted in attention-seeking and avoidance
• Implement evidence-based behavioral strategies determined by a BCBA and outlined in the student’s BIP
• Collaborate daily with a paraprofessional and multidisciplinary team to ensure consistency and progress
• Collect, document, and report data on behavioral interventions and student responses
• Support the general classroom environment while prioritizing the student's needs and safety
• Utilize proactive and reactive strategies to minimize challenges and maximize learning opportunities
