Opportunity for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work within an elementary school setting in Omaha, NE. This contract position supports K-5 students in behavior and foundational skills programs, focusing on developmental growth and positive behavioral interventions. The role offers consistent hours Monday through Friday with a clear schedule and direct collaboration with teachers and other behavior technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans for 4-5 students in the Behavior Skills Program or 2-3 students in the Foundational Skills Program.
- Work closely with Level 2 classrooms consisting of elementary students (K-5).
- Collaborate with teachers and other Behavior Technicians to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Provide data collection and progress reporting aligned with individualized student goals.
- Maintain a supportive and positive learning environment conducive to student success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) required.
- Experience supporting elementary-aged students with behavioral or developmental challenges.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to begin immediately and commit through May 22, 2026.
Schedule and Location:
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Position located in Omaha, Nebraska.
- No summer work status confirmed for this contract duration.
