Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Orangeburg, South Carolina

Take on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students for the 2026-2027 academic year, with the possibility to continue through Extended School Year. This part-time position (15 hours per week) is ideal for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who is passionate about making a positive impact on student success. Located approximately an hour southeast of Columbia, you'll work closely with students, helping them develop vital coping skills and managing behaviors using proven ABA therapy techniques.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Previous experience implementing ABA therapy in educational settings
• Skilled in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing/implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Comfortable working one-on-one with students to reinforce coping strategies and de-escalation methods
• Experience with hands-on ABA therapy approaches
• Willingness to provide in-home services is preferred, though not mandatory

Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted ABA interventions to help students build coping skills and manage behaviors effectively
• Complete FBAs and contribute thoughtfully to BIPs to support individual student needs
• Collaborate with school staff, related service providers, and families to ensure consistency and continuity of support
• Document and report student progress, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Provide one-on-one support, including ESY services as needed
