Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician, supporting students' growth and development within a dynamic school setting. Beginning as soon as possible and extending through May 28, 2027, this full-time position offers you the chance to provide direct behavioral support under the supervision of a BCBA, making a tangible difference in students’ school experiences.
This role is exclusively full-time, requiring a commitment of 35 hours per week, aligned with the school calendar and daily schedules by grade level. You can expect clear structure during your workday, with district guidance and the support of experienced professionals throughout your assignment.
Qualifications:
- At least 1–2 years of experience as an RBT in school settings.
- Active or inactive RBT certification (expired certifications cannot be considered).
- Ability to work every scheduled school day without late arrivals, early departures, or modified/hybrid schedules.
- Willingness to assist with a variety of needs, including potential physical intervention and personal care assistance if required.
- BACB certification verifiable online.
Responsibilities:
- Implement student behavior plans and support classroom teams.
- Collect, monitor, and report on behavioral and classroom data.
- Work closely with teachers, BCBA supervisors, and school staff to ensure students’ success.
- Adapt to possible last-minute school assignments, demonstrating resiliency and flexibility amid placement changes.
- Support a positive and safe learning environment at all grade levels.
