Registered Behavior Technician in Oxford, AL

This opportunity is for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support a newly opening behavior classroom dedicated to students who benefit from specialized behavioral interventions. The classroom functions similarly to an occupational therapy room where students visit throughout the day for support.

Located in Oxford, AL, this contract position offers a full-time schedule of 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with an immediate start date. The role involves working directly within the behavior classroom, providing consistent support and intervention to students as they arrive during the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized behavioral interventions to students within the behavior classroom setting.
• Collaborate with school staff and supervisors to implement behavior plans.
• Provide ongoing behavior support to students throughout the school day.
• Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and interventions.
• For RBT candidates: work under supervision in accordance with grant funding requirements.

Qualifications:

• Must hold current certification as either a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Experience working with students requiring behavioral support in an educational setting preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple student visits throughout the day.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
