Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Pawtucket, Rhode Island

As part of a dedicated special education team, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one support to students, fostering growth and making a tangible difference in their lives. This contract position offers consistent hours in an engaging school setting, serving programs across the current school year (CYS), extended school year (ESY), and preparing for the next school year (NSY).

Key Qualifications:

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Previous experience working in school settings and/or with students on the autism spectrum
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in dynamic classroom environments
• Commitment to following individualized education plans and positive behavior support strategies

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 behavioral interventions for students in autism-specific classrooms
• Implement individualized plans under school guidance (with BCBA supervision resuming in the fall)
• Collect, track, and report data on student progress as directed
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate closely with teachers and school staff
• Provide proactive and empathetic support, helping students achieve their goals
• Engage fully during ESY (Extended School Year) summer program, Monday–Thursday, 8 am–12 pm
• Transition to a 40-hour workweek in the fall, continuing ongoing support
