Registered Behavior Technician in Pawtucket, RI

What We’re Looking For:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Experience working within school settings or with children/adolescents, particularly those on the Autism Spectrum
• Strong commitment to providing 1:1 support in a classroom setting
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with instructional staff
• Flexibility to adjust to evolving school needs and scheduling
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 behavioral interventions to assigned students as outlined by educational teams
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and related services as needed
• Collect data and document student progress using established protocols
• Foster a supportive, structured, and positive environment for student growth
• Adjust strategies and supports based on ongoing observations and feedback
• Prepare for upcoming school years by participating in orientation and planning activities

Position Details & Benefits:

• 35 hours per week during the main school year
• ESY (summer): 4 days per week (8am-12pm)—ideal for those seeking meaningful summer work
• In the fall, expand to 40 hours per week
