Registered Behavior Technician in Pawtucket, RI

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current RBT certification in good standing.
• Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school or therapeutic environment.
• Familiarity with ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles and data collection.
• Compassion, reliability, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to remain patient and calm in dynamic classroom or small-group settings.
• Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
• Track student progress through accurate data collection and daily documentation.
• Support students in a variety of academic and social settings, adapting interventions as necessary.
• Communicate regularly with educators, therapists, and families on student progress.
• Encourage social, academic, and behavioral development through positive reinforcement and evidence-based practices.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
