Registered Behavior Technician in Penn Valley, CA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification strongly preferred
• Experience as an RBT, Paraprofessional, or Behavior Specialist in educational settings
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and strategies
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Ability to implement behavior intervention plans with consistency
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility to adapt to dynamic classroom environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one or small group behavioral support to students
• Collaborate with educators and specialists to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Collect data on student progress and report findings to supervisory staff
• Monitor classroom behaviors, reinforce positive behaviors, and provide redirection as needed
• Maintain a positive, supportive environment conducive to learning and growth
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
