Shape positive learning environments as an onsite Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with a focus on transforming student behavioral outcomes. This full-time contract position runs from August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Skills and qualifications sought:

  • Active RBT certification and strong background as a Behavior Specialist or Registered Behavior Technician
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field
    OR
    Bachelor’s in education/special education with five years’ relevant experience
    OR
    Master’s in education/special education with three years’ experience supporting students with behavioral/emotional disabilities
  • Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, or the ability to obtain and maintain one
  • Training or hands-on experience with Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS/PBS)
  • Experience working with linguistically and culturally diverse communities (preferred)
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish and English highly valued

Key responsibilities include:

  • Training general and special education staff in effective behavior intervention strategies
  • Designing and supporting coherent behavioral curriculum and instruction
  • Supporting development and implementation of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP)
  • Assisting IEP teams in developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized behavioral intervention plans
  • Observing student behavior in classrooms, providing written feedback, and tracking progress
  • Aiding staff with data collection, analysis, and interpretation of behavioral data
  • Participating in Teacher Assistant Team (TAT) processes and fostering parental involvement when needed
