A school district in Piedmont, AL is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support a newly opening behavior classroom designed to assist students with unique behavioral needs. This role involves consistent, in-room work similar to an occupational therapy model, with students visiting throughout the day for behavioral support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct behavioral support to students in a dedicated behavior classroom.
- Maintain the classroom environment to be supportive and inclusive.
- Collaborate with school staff to facilitate consistent interventions.
- Ensure adherence to behavioral plans under appropriate supervision (for RBTs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must hold active certification as an RBT or BCBA.
