Registered Behavior Technician - Plain Dealing, LA

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active RBT certification required
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a behavioral support role
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for supporting students with special needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and outside supervisors
• Detail-oriented and skilled in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans

Responsibilities:

• Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who will be assigned by your agency
• Deliver individualized behavioral interventions for assigned students as part of their education programs
• Collect and maintain accurate data, documenting student progress and outcomes
• Communicate observations and updates to the supervising BCBA and school team as appropriate
• Support classroom routines, reinforce positive behaviors, and assist with social skill development
• Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards at all times
