Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • Experience working with children or individuals with special needs, preferably in educational settings
  • Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct behavioral therapy to students in classroom and school-based environments
  • Support students in developing essential skills, including communication, social interaction, and daily living
  • Implement individualized treatment plans designed by supervising BCBAs
  • Collect and record data on student progress and behaviors for ongoing analysis
  • Reinforce positive behaviors through evidence-based techniques
  • Adapt to evolving needs in the school setting and respond to feedback from supervising team members
