High School Elementary Registered Behavior Technician in Portland, OR

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Valid state license as required for RBTs in Oregon
• Experience working in school settings with elementary, middle, or high school students
• Ability to implement individualized behavioral interventions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, and school staff
• Comfort providing one-on-one ABA support to students of varying abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct behavioral intervention services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) or behavioral plans
• Work collaboratively with special education teachers, school psychologists, and support staff
• Collect ongoing data to monitor and report on student behavior and progress
• Support the implementation of evidence-based strategies in both classroom and individual settings
• Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive environment that encourages student growth and independence
• Participate in team meetings and contribute your insights on student progress
