Middle School High School Registered Behavior Technician - Portland, OR

Make a positive impact supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician in a dynamic school environment near Portland, OR. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide crucial 1:1 assistance to students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, helping them achieve developmental and academic goals.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active RBT certification required
• Valid state license for behavior technicians, if applicable
• Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
• Ability to support students across various grade levels (elementary, middle, and high school)
• Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) interventions
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Professional, adaptable, and a team player

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized support to students using ABA techniques
• Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and behavior analysts
• Assist in conducting behavior assessments, implementing intervention plans, and collecting behavioral data
• Monitor student progress toward behavioral and academic objectives
• Support students in classroom, small group, and independent settings
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the school and supervision team
• Foster a positive and inclusive school environment
