Registered Behavior Technician in Pottstown, PA

Make a difference in the life of a student by providing dedicated support as a Registered Behavior Technician in an intermediate school setting. This contract opportunity involves working 1:1 with a fifth-grade student who is brand new to the building. Your expertise will be essential in helping the student navigate their daily schedule, supporting their academic growth, and managing behavioral needs as they transition into a new environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification required
• Experience working in school settings or with elementary-age students is highly valued
• Comfortable and experienced in supporting students who may exhibit aggressive behaviors
• Skilled in behavioral monitoring, data collection, and implementing behavior intervention plans
• Strong communication abilities for collaborating with teachers, school staff, and families
• Reliability and adaptability, especially in dynamic classroom situations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent 1:1 behavior and academic support throughout each school day
• Monitor, document, and report on student behavior and progress towards goals
• Implement strategies and interventions to support positive student behaviors
• Assist with the academic and instructional demands of the student’s daily schedule
• Foster a welcoming and structured environment to help the student feel comfortable and supported in their new school
• Work closely with the school team to develop and adjust support strategies as needed
