1st Grade Elementary Registered Behavior Technician in Racine, WI

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a Registered Behavior Technician! Utilize your skills and experience with moderate to severe needs to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners in grades K-2.

In this contract role, you’ll collaborate with educators and specialists to deliver one-on-one and small group interventions within an elementary setting. Your expertise will support a caseload of approximately 12 students, guiding them through their daily activities and behavioral goals. With a consistent Monday through Friday schedule (8:00 am – 3:00 pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week), you’ll have the structure you need to plan, implement, and track meaningful progress for your students.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification required
• Demonstrated experience working with moderate/severe needs populations, ideally in K-2 settings
• Background in supporting elementary-aged students (1st grade, 2nd grade) within an educational environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educational teams
• Passion for fostering growth and promoting inclusion

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group behavioral support based on IEP and specialist recommendations
• Collect and document student data, taking part in goal tracking and progress reports
• Partner with classroom teachers, special educators, and support staff to adapt strategies
• Maintain rapport and positive engagement with elementary students, fostering a safe and inclusive learning space
• Assist with daily routines, emotional regulation, and adaptive skills, ensuring every child has the support they need
