Your experience as a Moderate/Severe ISE Specialist will be essential as you collaborate closely with educators and support staff, helping children develop crucial academic and social skills. This contract position offers a consistent weekday schedule—Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm—ensuring work-life balance while allowing you to immerse yourself in a supportive school environment.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Proven experience with moderate and severe cases, preferably in an educational setting
- Previous work with K-2 or elementary-age students highly desired
- Solid understanding of individualized education and behavioral intervention plans
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams
What You’ll Do:
- Provide one-on-one and small-group behavioral support to elementary students with significant needs
- Implement appropriate Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies as outlined in students’ plans
- Track progress, collect data, and contribute insights to IEP meetings
- Foster a caring, structured, and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom
- Partner with educators, therapists, and families to maximize student growth and independence
